More Information on the Open Mic Atlanta listing.

Earthshaking Music has been redefining the neighborhood music store since 1994, when we began as a home-based mail order company with a small line of exotic percussion instruments and instructional materials. Having outgrown our house and a smaller retail space, in 1999 we moved into our 7000 square foot store in the East Atlanta Village and now offer the best in mainstream musical gear from guitars to drum sets, melodicas to fuzz pedals, lessons and as they say, more.
Meet the Staff
While cool equipment is important, it's nothing without good people and we're proud of our staff- they bring countless years of experience and knowledge to their jobs and they are what allow us to compete with the big boys. Thanks guys!
- Dave Strohauer President
- Dave brings to Earthshaking Music a diverse set of skills ranging from fine woodworking, the semi-mastery of a wide range of percussion instruments and didjeridoo, long range strategic business planning and the uncanny ability to diagnose car problems by the sound they make. Dave is founder and director of Earthshaking Samba, a community samba bateria.
- Lisa Strohauer Accounting and Graphics
- Lisa has a background in Industrial Design and Graphic Design. She's responsible for the "look" of most of our ads and printed materials as well as our day to day business operations, all while raising our son, Sterling.
- Eric Belt General Manager and Repairs
since 2002 - From Lexington, KY, Eric is responsible for guitar and tube amp repairs as well as nearly all buying for the store. Eric has the gift/curse of having memorized 10,000+ item IDs. He is a great guitarist and film composer and he designs and builds awesome tube guitar amps.
- Scott Trinh Sales, Webmaster, Studio Manager
since 2006 - Scott is the manager and head engineer of our in-house recording studio, Earthshaking Studios.
